Jelqing Techniques

Jelqing is a very valuable exercise, but it must be done properly. You’ll get a complete rundown of all the specific exercises on the Jelqing Exercises page, but right now let’s cover the basics.

The Basics of Jelqing

Jelqing is just like any other physical exercise. You need to warm up first! That’s right you need to warm up your penis before Jelqing or you could possibly hurt yourself.

The easiest Jelqing warm-up involves hot water and a wash cloth. If that sounds painful, don’t worry. The water does not need to be scalding hot – just hot enough to stimulate blood flow. Go with a temperature that you can handle.

Take the hot water and soak the wash cloth in it. Now, hold the wash cloth that you used to soak up the hot water and put in on your penis for a couple of minutes. This starts the blood flow and ensures a productive Jelqing session. You will also want to repeat this after your Jelqing session.

Time To Start Jelqing!

Once you’ve warmed up for your Jelqing session, you’re ready to dive in! First, make sure your penis is at least slightly erect then grab your choice of lubrication (you can use a store bought lube, Vaseline, or baby oil) and lube up your penis and your hands. This will help prevent any discomfort caused by dryness.

With your hand, form an “O” shape with your thumb and index finger. Now, take this formation and, starting with your left hand at the base of your penis, stroke forward in a milking motion.

This will help your blood start pumping within your penis. Now, when your left hand reaches your right hand, it’s time to switch hands and repeat this Jelqing process. Jelqing is usually done for about a hundred strokes. The amount of time that this takes depends upon the speed that you’re Jelqing (usually just a couple of minutes).

That's The Technique

There you go! That’s the abbreviated version of the Jelqing technique. For more details and alternate exercises please see the Jelqing Exercises page.
